From the designer:
" This gown is really about color and texture. I’ve always been obsessed with ombré effects in mother sunsets because it feels almost painterly. The way pigments blend across a canvas to alluringly appear and disappear. The layered skirt builds that color like brushstrokes, moving from one tone into another with soft dimensionality. There’s something saccharine and dreamy about the tiered structure, but also a bit of couture architecture in how the layers stack and hold shape. The bodice draping stays sheer at the center front for just a peek of daring, balanced by a deeply snatched basque waist. For the runway, she dramatically opts for winged off-shoulder sleeves—because if a gown is going to dream, it might as well dream big. I kept thinking of Pegasus while designing her: elegance, mythology, and flight all wrapped into one moment of movement.”
