From the designer: 
“The Ellery was inspired by the Ellery Queen detective novels—stories where elegance and intrigue coexist in the same room. I liked the idea of translating that sense of flirtation into fabric. Chantilly lace became the foundation because it has that whisper-light delicacy that couture houses have relied on for generations, especially in mid-century eveningwear. Over that, I layered dimensional floral texture so the surface feels alive rather than flat. The raw-cut edges of the skirt were intentional; they give the movement a kind of playful spontaneity, almost like petals fluttering in a breeze. The push-up neckline leans into classic bombshell proportions, but the lightness of the lace keeps it romantic rather than overtly dramatic. She feels like the flirtier sister of McCall…mysterious, feminine, yet still a little mischievous.”
